With offices in Troy, NY and Miami, FL, ME studio is a multidisciplinary studio that focuses on urban-centered development. The layered disciplines of our practice all work in synergy towards an overlying ethos: to create and re-create a human sense of place in an increasingly discordant urban and civic environment. With a modern sensibility and a reverence for tried and true historic traditions, we often find ourselves negotiating a delicate balance of the 'new' and the 'old'. Classic vs kitsch, timeless vs fad, and sacred vs profane: we work with a unique sensitivity to these polarizing forces in our modern world and with curiosity about how the strength of our design can endure and transcend these dualities.
